Dream BIG was designed to make the dreams of children in foster care come true. Many times children in foster care are hopeful to simply have basic needs met that others take for granted. We want kids in foster care to be able to think beyond basic needs and learn to Dream BIG! Our first round of Dream Big was for children ages 4-18, but now we are prioritizing our little tots 0-3!
RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR DREAM BIG TINY TOT EDITION!
-
Who is Eligible?
-
Any child ages 0-3 who is currently in foster care or who has been adopted from foster care.
-
-
Who Can Nominate a Child?
-
Anyone can nominate a child to receive the chance to dream big and gain access to support and opportunities that may not be otherwise available to them. Whether you are a foster or adoptive parent, a foster care worker, a therapist, a court-appointed special advocate (CASA), a teacher, or a child's attorney, we want to hear from you.
-
Nominations from individuals who understand the unique challenges children in foster care face are particularly valuable. The nominating individual must also have a relationship with the child, ensuring they possess a deep understanding of the child's needs.
-
By submitting a nomination, you can play an essential role in helping a child feel seen, cherished, and loved. Your involvement can make a significant difference in these children's lives, promoting healthy brain development and fostering resilience.

Important to Remember
-
While we strive to make as many dreams come true as possible through the Dream BIG: Tiny Tots Edition, our capacity to assist is limited. To ensure we can allocate resources effectively, please provide as much detail as possible in your application. The more specific you are in your request, the better we can understand the child's needs.
